Television / Comcast Update
The Tara Master Association (TMA) offers the Tara community two
private access television channels. This service is provided via the
Tara-Comcast bulk rate contract. The channels assist the TMA,
Preserve CDD and Tara Golf & Country Club (TGCC), as well as the
many sub-associations to stay in contact with members when they are in 
residence. Channels 195 & 795 and 196 & 796 are closed circuit
community channels for the residents within the Tara Master
Association. Channel 195 & 795 are primarily dedicated to Phase 1
residents including TGCC. Channels 196 & 796 are dedicated to
residents of The Preserve. Channels 795 & 796 are designated to
televisions that are equipped with a Comcast digital converter box.
Channels 195 & 196 are accessible for any television that is not
connected to a Comcast box.The channels are designed to deliver timely
information pertinent to the communities including news, events and
announcements. No commercial, personal, or business messages are
permitted. We attempt to make viewing the channels appealing and
interesting. Any resident can request a slide be posted on the channels
by filling out a form which can be obtained at the Tara Golf &CC office
or from the Community Center in The Preserve.
All requests are monitored to be sure that they are in compliance with
the community channel standards.
Please view your channel at least once a week to keep up with the news
and activities at Tara.
